Fabrication of superhydrophilic surface on copper substrate by electrochemical deposition and sintering process

Superhydrophilic surfaces were fabricated on copper substrates by an electrochemical deposition and sintering process. Superhydrophobic surfaces were prepared by constructing micro/nano-structure on copper substrates through an electrochemical deposition method. Conversion from superhydrophobic to superhydrophilic was obtained via a suitable sintering process. After reduction sintering, the contact angle of the superhydrophilic surfaces changed from 155° to 0°. The scanning electron microscope (SEM) images show that the morphology of superhydrophobic and superhydrophilic surfaces looks like corals and cells respectively. The chemical composition and crystal structure of these surfaces were examined using energy dispersive spectrometry (EDS) and X-ray diffraction (XRD). The results show that the main components on superhydrophobic surfaces are Cu, Cu2O and CuO, while the superhydrophilic surfaces are composed of Cu merely. The crystal structure is more inerratic and the grain size becomes bigger after the sintering. The interracial strength of the superhydrophilic surfaces was investigated, showing that the interfacial strength between superhydrophilic layer and copper substrate is considerably high.

沉积时间和靶电流比例对磁控溅射TiAlN涂层耐磨性的影响(英文)被引量:3

采用磁控溅射工艺在WC-8Co硬质合金基体表面制备了一层厚度分别为2.5、3和3.5μm的TiAlN涂层,并制备了不同Ti、Al比例的TiAlN涂层,利用摩擦磨损机考察了涂层的承载能力和摩擦学性能,通过扫描电子显微镜观察了磨损试件的表面形貌,通过摩擦系数和显微组织的演变来评价不同成分和不同厚度TiAlN涂层的摩擦学性能。结果表明,随着涂层厚度的增加,涂层的摩擦系数降低,涂层更不易被磨穿,表明在一定范围内增加涂层厚度有利于提高涂层的耐磨损性能;涂层的成分发生改变时,由于Ti、Al元素的共同作用,呈现不同的摩擦性能,当Ti/Al比为50:50时,涂层的耐磨性最好。

Uniaxial tensile behavior of porous metal fiber sintered sheet

A novel porous metal fiber sintered sheet (PMFSS) with a three-dimensional reticulated structure was fabricated by multi-tooth cutting and high-temperature solid-phase sintering process with copper fibers. A uniaxial tensile test was conducted to investigate the effect of fiber length and natural aging factor on the tensile properties of the PMFSS. Results indicated that, under given stress, the increase of fiber length helped reinforce the tensile strength. The elongation of the PMFSS with medium length fiber of 15 mm exhibited the optimal performance, reaching about 13.5%. After natural aging treatment for a month, the tensile strength of PMFSS significantly decreased, but the change of elongation was negligible except for the one with the shortest fiber length of 5 mm, whose elongation was effectively improved. The morphological fracture features of PMFSSs were also characterized.

Mass transfer enhancement for LiBr solution using ultrasonic wave被引量:1

The methods were studied to improve the cooling performance of the absorption refrigeration system(ARS) driven by low-grade solar energy with ultrasonic wave, while the mechanism of ultrasonic wave strengthening boiling mass transfer in LiB r solution was also analyzed with experiment. The experimental results indicate that, under the driving heat source of 60–100 oC and the ultrasonic power of 20–60 W, the mass flux of cryogen water in Li Br solution is higher after the application of ultrasonic wave than auxiliary heating with electric rod of the same power, so the ultrasonic application effectively enhances the heat utilization efficiency. The distance H from ultrasonic transducer to vapor/liquid interface significantly affects mass transfer enhancement, so an optimal Hopt corresponding to certain ultrasonic power is beneficial to reaching the best strengthening effect for ultrasonic mass transfer. When the ultrasonic power increases, the mass transfer obviously speeds up in the cryogen water; however, as the power increases to a certain extent, the flux reaches a plateau without obvious increment. Moreover, the ultrasound-enhanced mass transfer technology can reduce the minimum temperature of driving heat source required by ARS and promote the application of solar energy during absorption refrigeration.

液晶显示屏防眩光结构的研究现状与展望被引量:10

液晶显示屏表面的眩光现象对使用者的视力健康有极大的隐患,而防眩光结构是消除屏幕眩光的主要手段。按照宏观的结构特征进行分类,列举介绍了4种防眩光结构:广泛应用的防眩光结构包括表面粗化结构和纳米光学颗粒散布结构,常用于减反射领域的光干涉多层膜复合结构和三维微纳结构。并对这4种结构的原理、国内外研究现状和未来发展趋势都进行了详尽的描述。分析表明:直接在屏幕玻璃上成型防眩光结构的方法、新屏幕材料防眩光结构的加工方法以及对各种结构实现防眩光原理的探究,将是未来的研究重点。

Effects of environmental factors on corrosion behaviors of metal-fiber porous components in a simulated direct methanol fuel cell environment被引量:1

Abstract: To enable the use of metallic components in direct methanol fuel cells (DMFCs), issues related to corrosion resistance must be considered because of an acid environment induced by the solid electrolyte. In this study, we report the electrochemical behaviors of metal-fiber-based porous sintered components in a simulated corrosive environment of DMFCs. Three materials were evaluated: pure copper, AISI304, and AISI316L. The environmental factors and related mechanisms affecting the corrosion behaviors were analyzed. The results demonstrated that AISI316L exhibits the best performance. A higher SO4^2- concentration increases the risk of material corrosion, whereas an increase in methanol concentration inhibits corrosion. The morphological features of the corroded samples were also characterized in this study.

内凹形微通道热沉换热流动性能的数值分析被引量:1

针对大功率LED阵列的热控问题,提出了一种内凹形("Ω"形)铜基微通道热沉,并采用数值模拟(CFD)方法分析对比了其与常见矩形微通道热沉的性能。此外,还对其在不同流速、进口水温、热流密度下的单相对流传热、流动性能进行了研究。结果表明,该内凹形微通道较常见的矩形微通道热沉,通过减少泵功损失获得了更高的综合性能;采用较高的流速和较小的进口水温能够提高其换热性能,增大热沉底面温度均匀性,从而提高LED的寿命和稳定性;雷诺数约为300时,层流向湍流转捩。

Operational and structural aspects of a vapor-feed semi-passive direct methanol fuel cell supplied with concentrated methanol

Direct methanol fuel cell(DMFC)has great potential to replace the traditional battery in the field of portable power sources.This study investigates the operational and structural aspects of a vapor-feed semi-passive DMFC supplied with concentrated methanol.The effectiveness of using vaporous methanol to improve the cell performance is experimentally validated.Results indicate that there exits an optimal value of methanol concentration that favors both methanol supply and control of methanol crossover(MCO).With the increase in vaporization temperature,the cell performance can be enhanced.Based on the traditional structural design,a sintered porous metal plate is further used to depress the impact of MCO so that the cell performance can be significantly improved at a relatively higher methanol concentration.This is of great importance to enhance the energy density and operating duration for portable applications.The mechanisms related to the performance behaviors are discussed in detail.
