Preparation and Composition-Structure-Thermal Stability Relation of a Novel Open-framework Vanadium Phosphate(H_3NCH_2CH_2NH_3)_3[(VO)_4(PO_4)_2(HPO_4)_4]被引量:7

A novel open-framework vanadium(W) phosphate(H_3NCH_2CH_2NH_3)_3[(VO)_4(PP_4)_2(HPO_4)_4] (short for V_2P_3-en) has been prepared. It issynthesized hydrothermally in the presence of ethylenediamine (en) at 170 deg C for 5 days byself-assembly from structurally simple precursors V_2O_5, H_3PO_4 and H_2O. The compound ischaracterized by means of Fourier transform-infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR),Thermogravimetry-differential thermal analysis (TG-DTA), X-ray powder diffraction analysis (XRD) andScanning electron microscopy (SEM). Furthermore, the composition-structure-thermal stabilityrelation of V_2P_3-en is explored in terms of crystal chemistry, and the potential approach to theenhancement of its thermal stability is proposed.

TRPC6:an underlying target for human glaucoma

Glaucoma is one of the leading causes of visual impairment and blindness worldwide. Of known risk factors for glaucoma, an increased in intraocular pressure is most highly correlated with glaucomatous damage. Irrespective of the cause, apoptosis of the retinal ganglion cells is the eventual outcome. It is widely accepted that glaucoma is a neurodegenerative disease that is strongly correlated with central nervous system disorders, such as Alzheimer's disease. These two disorders also share some similarities in pathogenic mechanisms. Recent studies suggest that the transient receptor potential canonical 6 channel could work together with brain-derived neurotrophic factor to promote neuron survival in brain and retina. In this study, we propose that transient receptor potential canonical 6 may contribute to the pathogenesis of human glaucoma and become a potential therapeutic target.

早幼粒细胞白血病锌指蛋白(promyelocytic leukemia zinc finger,PLZF),也被称为ZBTB16(zinc finger and BTB domain containing 16,ZBTB16)或锌指蛋白145(zinc finger protein 145,ZFP145),是我国学者发现与人类疾病相关的蛋白质.人类PLZF的是由673个氨基酸残基组成的转录抑制因子,属于蛋白质超家族.该超家族以N端的BTB/POZ(bric-à-brac,tramtrack,brad complex(BTB)/poxvirus zinc finger(POZ)domain)结构为特征.PLZF蛋白的BTB/POZ结构与个体发育、胚胎发生、染色体的重构等事件相关.近年发现,PLZF在哺乳动物雄性生殖干细胞(male germline stem cells,mGSCs)发育分化过程中也发挥重要作用.探讨PLZF的生物学功能和作用机制,将有助于理解其在mGSCs发育过程中的重要作用.本文就PLZF在维持mGSCs自我更新和在发育分化调控中的作用给予综述.
