A statistical analysis of the theses on competitive intelligence in China in the past 12 years from 1987 to 1998 is made,including chronological distribution,categorizing,document resources distribution and subject of theses.By use of this method,the core journals on competitive intelligence and the research focuses are determined.The paper also makes an analysis and prediction of competitive intelligence studies in China.
