Connotative meaning is that people deal with our emotional reactions to words. Connotative meaning of words is a part of culture. When people in a certain specific context of culture express their cognitions and experiences the objective world, they impose good or bad, beautiful or ugly meaning on the words, and give the cultural connotation of the words. There not only have common connotative meaning, but also peculiar connotative meaning among different contexts of culture. The later can be divided into two situations. One is different contexts of culture, different connotative meanings. The other is that connotative meaning is peculiar in one context of culture and vacant in anther context of culture.
