The paper discusses the shift of the users’interactive objectives,intentions and information searching strategies happening during the process of information retrieval on the Internet as well as their relative concepts.The nature of Internet information retrieval is unveiled.The paper also gives some advice about how to establish an adaptive information searching system on the Internet.
