等离子体医学研究进展

大气压非平衡等离子体(atmospheric pressure nonequilibrium plasma,APNP)能够在产生多种活性成分的同时保持较低甚至常温的气体温度,这使得它在生物医学方面有着巨大的应用前景,因此等离子体医学成为一个备受关注的新兴研究领域。自1996年第一篇等离子体医学研究论文发表以来,等离子体医学领域取得了蓬勃的发展,但也面临着一些核心科学问题亟需解决。文中对等离子体医学的研究进展进行了综述,探讨了该领域面临的核心科学问题和等离子体的生物安全性。此外,还简要介绍了等离子体医学在微生物消杀、伤口愈合、癌症治疗、经皮给药和皮肤病治疗等重要应用方面取得的成果。对于制定等离子体医学的标准和规范、建立第三方检测平台以及共享数据库和标准装置等问题,也进行了初步的讨论。最后,对等离子体医学的未来进行了展望。

First spectroscopic study of HFRC plasma

An advanced spectral diagnostic system was developed to measure the electron temperature(T_(e)),electron density(N_(e)),and ion temperature(T_(i))of the Huazhong University of Science and Technology field-reversed configuration plasma.The system consists of an optic fiber spectrometer with a wide spectral band and a 670 mm focal length high throughout Czerny-Turner monochromator equipped with both a 3600 g mm^(-1)grating and a 2400 g mm^(-1)grating to measure the line spectrum.Accompanying these components is an electronmultiplying charge-coupled device camera to capture spectral data.The relative intensity of the optical fiber spectrometer was calibrated using a standard luminance source,and the wavelength calibration of the spectrometer was accomplished using a Hg/Ar lamp.This diagnostic setup was configured to measure electron density based on the Stark effect of H_γ(n=5→n=2;434.04 nm).Doppler broadening of an OⅢ(2s^(2)2p(^(2)P^(0))3p→2s^(2)2p(^(2)P^(0))3s;375.988 nm)emission line was measured and analyzed to obtain the ion temperature,and electron temperatures were estimated from the relative strength of H_(β)(n=4→n=2;486.14 nm)(D_(β))and H_(γ)(D_(γ))spectral lines when the electron density was obtained from Stark effect measurements.The initial experimental results indicate that the highest electron temperature of the formation region was approximately 8 eV,the electron density of the colliding-and-merging region was approaching 10^(20)m^(-3),and the ion temperature reached about 40 eV.

Spectral characteristics of laser-plasma instabilities with a broadband laser

Recent experimental progresses regarding broadband laser-plasma instabilities(LPIs)show that a 0.6%laser bandwidth can reduce backscatters of the stimulated Brillouin scattering(SBS)and the stimulated Raman scattering(SRS)at normal incidence[Phys.Rev.Lett.132035102(2024)].In this paper,we present a further discussion of the spectral distributions of the scatters developed by broadband LPIs,in addition to a brief validation of the effectiveness of bandwidth on LPIs mitigation at oblique incidence.SBS backscatter has a small redshift in the broadband case contrary to the blueshift with narrowband laser,which may be explained by the self-cross beam energy transfer between the various frequency components within the bandwidth.SRS backscatter spectrum presents a peak at a longer wavelength in the broadband case compared to the short one in the narrowband case,which is possibly attributed to the mitigation effect of bandwidth on filaments at underdense plasmas.The three-halves harmonic emission(3ω/2)has a one-peak spectral distribution under the broadband condition,which is different from the two-peak distribution under the narrowband condition,and may be related to the spectral mixing of different frequency components within the bandwidth if the main sources of the two are both two-plasmon decays.

Plasma current tomography for HL-2A based on Bayesian inference

An accurate plasma current profile has irreplaceable value for the steady-state operation of the plasma.In this study,plasma current tomography based on Bayesian inference is applied to an HL-2A device and used to reconstruct the plasma current profile.Two different Bayesian probability priors are tried,namely the Conditional Auto Regressive(CAR)prior and the Advanced Squared Exponential(ASE)kernel prior.Compared to the CAR prior,the ASE kernel prior adopts nonstationary hyperparameters and introduces the current profile of the reference discharge into the hyperparameters,which can make the shape of the current profile more flexible in space.The results indicate that the ASE prior couples more information,reduces the probability of unreasonable solutions,and achieves higher reconstruction accuracy.

56~60周岁固定献血浆者安全性调查分析

目的 探讨55~60岁固定献血浆者安全性,为我国单采血浆行业保留与招募55~60岁献浆者提供参考。方法 2018—2020年共9家血液制品生产企业55~60岁固定献浆者及当地同龄普通人群为作为研究对象,统计固定献浆者与当地普通人群总蛋白水平、白球比[血浆白蛋白(ALB)/球蛋白(GLB),A/G]、献浆不良反应并进行回顾性分析。结果 56~60周岁固定献血浆人群和普通人群的总蛋白质水平分别为(61.21±5.62)g/L、(60.04±6.93)g/L;白球比分别为1.610±0.299、1.635±0.330,固定献血浆人群和普通人群的总蛋白质水平、A/G差异均具有统计学意义,固定献浆人群总蛋白水平高于普通人群,但A/G略低于普通人群。2018—2020年期间,108家浆站共采浆23 056 302人次,发生不良反应20 932人次,总发生率为0.09%,无严重不良反应发生。结论 55~60岁固定献血浆者献浆安全可靠,保留该年龄段献浆者可缓解血浆原料的供应压力。

EAST-CTI测试平台上六硼化镧等离子体源的研制

为了更方便和深入研究紧凑环注入(CTI)系统产生的等离子体团在等离子体中的演化过程,特设计了一套大尺寸、均匀的六硼化镧等离子体源,用来产生磁化、高密度等离子体。等离子体源的阴极采用钨丝间接加热的方式来达到工作温度,阴极最高可达到1800℃。阳极采用耐高温、透过率50%的钼金属网,与阴极之间轴向间距1m。在阴极和阳极之间施加40~200V偏压,阴极发射的电子与中性气体碰撞、电离进而产生长1m直径100mm的稳态磁化等离子体柱。在台面实验中,测试了源的放电性能和等离子体相关参数。实验结果表明,在阴极发射电流密度为1~2A·cm^(-2)的情况下,测得的氩等离子体电子密度可达到10^(18)m^(-3)量级,电子温度约为8eV。通过增加阴、阳极之间偏压,阴极发射电流密度最高达到8.5A·cm^(-2),等离子体参数与托卡马克边界参数相近。该等离子体源满足设计要求并具备为EAST-CTI系统开展台面实验的能力。

Effects of vacuum magnetic field region on the compact torus trajectory in a tokamak plasma

The trajectory of the compact torus(CT)within a tokamak discharge is crucial to fueling.In this study,we developed a penetration model with a vacuum magnetic field region to accurately determine CT trajectories in tokamak discharges.This model was used to calculate the trajectory and penetration parameters of CT injections by applying both perpendicular and tangential injection schemes in both HL-2A and ITER tokamaks.For perpendicular injection along the tokamak's major radius direction from the outboard,CTs with the same injection parameters exhibited a 0.08 reduction in relative penetration depth when injected into HL-2A and a 0.13reduction when injected into ITER geometry when considering the vacuum magnetic field region compared with cases where this region was not considered.In addition,we proposed an optimization method for determining the CT's initial injection velocity to accurately calculate the initial injection velocity of CTs for central fueling in tokamaks.Furthermore,this paper discusses schemes for the tangential injection of CT into tokamak discharges.The optimal injection angle and CT magnetic moment direction for injection into both HL-2A and ITER were determined through numerical simulations.Finally,the kinetic energy loss occurring when the CT penetrated the vacuum magnetic field region in ITER was reduced byΔEk=975.08 J by optimizing the injection angle for the CT injected into ITER.These results provide valuable insights for optimizing injection angles in fusion experiments.Our model closely represents actual experimental scenarios and can assist the design of CT parameters.

Plasma Lysophosphatidylcholine and Phospholipase A2 Activity in Chagas Disease Patients: A Comparative Analysis

Chagas disease (CD) affects 21 countries in the Americas and is caused by the parasite Trypanosoma cruzi. A key molecule involved in CD is lysophosphatidylcholine (LPC), which has been studied in various contexts: in the saliva of insect vectors, during the establishment of infection in the vertebrate host, and for the parasite itself. This lipid can be produced by the action of phospholipases A2 (PLA2), enzymes that catalyze the hydrolysis of phospholipids releasing fatty acids and lysophospholipids, such as LPC. This study investigates LPC levels and PLA2 activities in the plasma of CD patients and compares these levels with those in healthy individuals and patients with idiopathic dilated cardiomyopathy (IDCM). Plasma from 64 CD patients, 54 healthy individuals, and 16 IDCM patients were analyzed. LPC levels and the activity of two types of phospholipase A2: secreted (sPLA2) and lipoprotein-associated (Lp-PLA2) were measured. LPC levels and sPLA2 activity were similar between CD patients and the control groups. However, there were notable differences in LPC levels and sPLA2 activity between subgroups of CD patients and IDCM patients. This study is the first to identify LPC in patients with CD across various stages of the disease. It also offers new insights into the biochemical changes observed in the plasma of patients with IDCM.

The multi-peak point phenomenon of broadband microwave reflection caused by inhomogeneous plasma

During spacecraft re-entry,the challenge of measuring plasma sheath parameters directly contributes to difficulties in addressing communication blackout.In this work,we have discovered a phenomenon of multiple peaks in reflection data caused by the inhomogeneous plasma.Simulation results show that the multi-peak points fade away as the characteristic frequency is approached,resembling a series of gradually decreasing peaks.The positions and quantities of these points are positively correlated with electron density,yet they show no relation to collision frequency.This phenomenon is of significant reference value for future studies on the spatial distribution of plasmas,particularly for using microwave reflection signals in diagnosing the plasma sheath.

Effect of antenna helicity on discharge characteristics of helicon plasma under a divergent magnetic field

The characteristics of the blue core phenomenon observed in a divergent magnetic field helicon plasma are investigated using two different helical antennas, namely right-handed and lefthanded helical antennas. The mode transition, discharge image, spatial profiles of plasma density and electron temperature are diagnosed using a Langmuir probe, a Nikon D90 camera,an intensified charge-coupled device camera and an optical emission spectrometer, respectively.The results demonstrated that the blue core phenomenon appeared in the upstream region of the discharge tube at a fixed magnetic field under both helical antennas. However, it is more likely to appear in a right-handed helical antenna, in which the plasma density and ionization rate of the helicon plasma are higher. The spatial profiles of the plasma density and electron temperature are also different in both axial and radial directions for these two kinds of helical antenna. The wavelength calculated based on the dispersion relation of the bounded whistler wave is consistent with the order of magnitude of plasma length. It is proved that the helicon plasma is part of the wave mode discharge mechanism.
